Inductive Sensors

Inductive proximity sensors

Inductive sensors play a vital role in automation technology, enabling the precise detection of metal objects without physical contact. They operate at high switching frequencies and offer exceptional accuracy, making them indispensable for modern automated systems. di-soric's inductive sensors are highly resistant to vibrations, dust, and moisture, ensuring robust performance, maintenance-free operation, and a long lifespan. Inductive proximity sensors are available in various sizes (from Ø 3 mm to M30) and rectangular designs, optimizing the efficiency and reliability of automation processes.

In addition to standard industrial applications, di-soric offers all-metal versions, pressure-resistant sensors up to 500 bar, and models with extended 3x or 4x switching distances. Sensors with analog outputs are also available for precise measurement in production or testing processes. Below are key series and their special features:

  • INS Standard Series:

Ideal for cost-effective solutions, available in Ø 3 mm to M30 with normal and rectangular designs. Features single/double switching distances and multiple connection options (plugs or PVC cables). Ideal for standard applications with 1x to 2x switching distances, offering an excellent price-performance ratio.

  • INE Extended Series:

Suited for demanding applications, offering enhanced mounting tolerances with double/triple switching distances. Available in normal and short designs with connectors, including PUR cables.

  • INC Large Operating Distance:

Guarantees precise detection with up to 4x switching distances. Designed for ambitious tasks with extended switching distances where M12 flush designs switch at 8 mm, and M30/square designs switch up to 40 mm.

  • INP High Pressure-Resistant:

Specialized for hydraulic systems and valve monitoring, capable of withstanding pressures up to 500 bar. Available in stainless steel housing in M12, M14, and M18 sizes.

  • INA Analog:

Precision sensors for measuring small changes in distance. Provides analog current/voltage outputs for highly precise measurements of metallic distances in production or testing processes.

  • INH High-Temperature Resistant:

Robust performance in extreme temperatures from -25°C to +230°C, ideal for harsh environments.

  • INW Full Metal:

Built for high durability. Corrosion-resistant sensors with V4A stainless steel housing, ideal for use in harsh chemical environments.

  • INM Miniature:

Designed for confined spaces, providing compactness without compromising performance.

  • IND Short Design:

Inductive Ring Sensors

Inductive ring and wire breakage sensors, with diameters ranging from 4 mm to 151 mm, are designed to detect even the smallest metallic parts in supply tubes for further processing. These sensors feature pulse stretching for fast-moving parts, ensuring easy signal analysis. These sensors are highly durable and require infrequent replacement, as they are protected against overload, short-circuit, and polarity reversal, offering robust and reliable performance.

  • IRB Standard:

Available in sizes Ø 10.1 mm to 27 mm, these static sensors quickly detect small metallic parts with a short response time, require no adjustments, and enable quick commissioning.

  • IRSD Static/Dynamic:

Offers multifunctionality with selectable NO/NC, static/dynamic operation, push-pull, PNP, and NPN configurations. It can be optimized for various applications via IO-Link.

  • IRDB Wire-Break Sensors:

Designed for wire break detection, available in Ø 4 mm and 6 mm sizes. These static sensors offer quick setup and short response times.

Inductive Tube Sensors

Inductive tube sensors are designed for detecting and counting small metallic parts. They support both static and dynamic evaluation principles, making them ideal for monitoring material accumulation in supply tubes. These sensors are easily adaptable to different tube cross-sections without requiring tube dismantling, thanks to a compact design and universal fastening system.

  • IS Static:

Detects the smallest metallic parts with high reliability. Ideal for fast-moving parts and material accumulation detection. Available in a compact size of 70 x 20 x 12 mm.

  • ISDP Dynamic:

High-resolution sensors with a short response time. Automatically ignores metallic contaminants, allowing accurate detection. Lightweight, compact, IP67-rated, and equipped with a metallic connecting plug.
